Terms of Service

These terms govern use of the Vaelto service provided by ICC CONSUL LLP. By using Vaelto you agree to them. Contact: vaeltoai@gmail.com.

ICC CONSUL LLP, a limited liability partnership registered in England and Wales (company no. OC455597). Registered office: 8 Stoney Lane, London SE19 3BD, United Kingdom.

The service

Vaelto is an AI-assisted inbox: it drafts replies to customer messages from your knowledge base and lets your operators approve, edit, decline or auto-send them. Vaelto is a tool that keeps a human in control.

Your responsibilities

You are responsible for lawful use, for the accuracy of your knowledge base, for informing and having a basis to process your customers’ data, for deciding what content is sent to AI, for choosing the AI model, and for any use in sensitive or regulated fields. You must not use Vaelto for unlawful, harmful or misleading purposes.

AI output

AI drafts may contain errors. Because a human on your side approves messages, you are responsible for what is finally sent. Vaelto does not guarantee that AI output is accurate, complete or fit for a particular purpose.

Channels: your choice of connection

WhatsApp can be connected in two ways, and the choice is yours. We set up whichever you ask for.

Official WhatsApp Business Platform (WABA): a business account authorised by Meta. Recommended for business-critical use. It requires business verification and is charged by Meta per message.

Your existing number via the aggregator: your current WhatsApp number is linked by QR code, so you keep the number and keep chatting and calling from your phone. This method is not authorised or supported by Meta and may conflict with the WhatsApp Terms of Service. Meta may restrict, suspend or permanently block the connected number at any time, without notice. Choosing this option is your decision and your risk: we are not liable for suspension or loss of a messaging account, nor for interruption or change of any third-party channel.

Free trial

New workspaces get a 30-day free trial, no card required. During the trial, use is subject to a fair-use ceiling on AI usage.

Plans, payment and renewal (when billing launches)

Paid plans are billed per the price shown at purchase, monthly or annually. Subscriptions renew automatically for the same period unless cancelled before renewal. You can cancel at any time, effective at the end of the current period.

Fees for AI usage (model tokens) and third-party services — the messaging aggregator, the WhatsApp connection you choose, and payment providers — are paid separately by you and are not included in the Vaelto subscription.

Refunds are handled per the terms shown at purchase and applicable law.

Data protection

Handling of personal data is described in our Privacy Policy. For your customers’ data, you are the controller and we act as processor on your instructions.

Our Data Processing Agreement at vaelto.ai/dpa forms part of these terms and sets out the Article 28 GDPR conditions, our technical measures and the list of subprocessors. Where it conflicts with these terms on matters of personal data, the Data Processing Agreement prevails.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Vaelto is provided “as is”. We are not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential losses, for lost profits or data, for AI output, or for your use of the service in sensitive or regulated areas. Where liability cannot be excluded, it is limited to the amount you paid for the service in the preceding three months.

Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

Intellectual property

Vaelto and its brand remain our property. Your content and your customers’ data remain yours.

Changes and termination

We may update the service and these terms; material changes will be notified. We may suspend or end access for breach of these terms.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have jurisdiction, without prejudice to mandatory consumer or data-protection rights in your country of residence.
